[Nintendo Museum] Detailed review from opening day!

First, when you exit the east ticket gate at JR Ogura Station, you will see this sign below.

There is also a sign like this above. Follow the arrows.

Then, I saw a Pokemon vending machine on the street!
It was time for a Nintendo Mood.

If you cross the main street at the crosswalk, you will soon see the Nintendo Museum!

There was a line at the entrance gate, but we moved through without too much time.

By the way, there were lockers at the gate!
The design is also quite ingenious.

It seems that you can also leave large luggage such as suitcases, but the number is limited.

Still, it’s nice to be able to use the lockers for free!

Then at the entrance, our bags were inspected, our drinks were checked (we were asked to take a sip of the contents), and our ID was checked!

Once you pass through the gate, you’ll see this photo spot.
We waited in line for a bit and then a staff member took our photo!

There are also Mario poles and clay pipes!

You can actually go inside the clay pipe.

By the way, there is also this cute Pikachu manhole in the square!

The umbrella stand next to it also features a Game Boy design.

The vending machine in the umbrella area is Kirby!

Once we entered the entrance to Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, we were greeted by Toad!
(If you press his head, Toad starts singing. )

Next to it is the signature of Nintendo’s CEO, Mr. Miyamoto.

There was a rest area right at the entrance!

And if you go further, you’ll find the goods shop!

The atmosphere is like this.

In front of the shop there is a rest area and a space where strategy guides are displayed!

These are all strategy guides that I have read often!

There was also an information desk nearby where you could make reservations for workshops.

Now, we head to the main exhibition area.
There is a mural like this in front of the gate to the exhibition area!

This is a photogenic spot, so I took a picture with my entrance pass.

Photography was not allowed in the main exhibition area, so there are no photos.

Game consoles and old game software were lined up in a cramped space, making it a very exciting space!

You can also take photos in the experience area on the first floor!

First up is Hyakunin Isshu. You walk around on the images projected on the floor.

There are also games that can be played with big controllers.

The most popular in line was the 64, but there were also other games to choose from, such as the Super Nintendo!

You can also play at a mini batting center.

If you hit the ball and it hits an exhibit, all sorts of things will happen!

This shooting game seems to be the most popular, and we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes…

But it’s a fun game that’s a mix of Splatoon and Mario!

There are also games to test the compatibility between two people,

Game & Watch play that moves with the screen,

There’s plenty to experience, including past game software!

You can play the games by spending the 10 coins included in your admission ticket.
There is also a machine in the area where you can check how many coins you have left!

I also found some hidden Pikmin.

So we went to the much talked about cafe.

This is the menu for the burger shop.

The interior of the restaurant has a fast food restaurant atmosphere, and the hamburgers are visually impressive!

There was even a Zelda mural!
